Your edits must be approved before they're posted!
2 August 2009 - 1:48:20am

Please note that any edits you make must be approved by the Site Administrator. This is a security feature designed to keep the GEDCOM tidy, and to prevent someone who guesses your user name and password from making entries in your name.

You can read more about this by clicking on the "Help" icon at the top of any page, and then choosing "FAQ List." Look for the entry, "I've edited my family's records: Why can't I see the changes right away?". We would also ask that you not make massive edits all at one time -- pace yourself. We aren't going anywhere.

Above all, don't keep posting if you don't see your edited entries ‎(see above)‎. They will only be posted after the Site Administrator has reviewed them!
Read the Help section
2 August 2009 - 1:43:41am

Many folks want to know how to do something, a logical thing. But many do not use the "Help" button at the top of any page to find information they want to know.

Please use it regularly for help with a page, function or whatever. There's even a list of Frequently Asked Questions ‎(FAQs)‎. If you still need your question answered, or want to see a question added to the FAQs, contact Robby Douglas.

Please don't blindly try to change things without the help that is available on any page. Otherwise, you will become needlessly confused, and possibly mess up information.

The group will meet at 5:30 p.m. at Mount Pisgah Church in Gastonia, N.C.

Libby Carson Todd said, "No invitations are being sent out this year so a few of us have divided the mailing list up and we're contacting those on our list and only the heads of each family."

Ms. Todd said she is also doing a newsletter, so you have family news, you can send it to either Libby1@carolina.rr.com or to her husband's email address: KTODD1@carolina.rr.com.

"The Carson Clan lost Neill Mills Carson on February 4. Don't know if you knew him but he was the only child of the youngest of the original 13 children. So that's the last of that generation," she said.
